Trust Fundraising Support
The Brief:
UpRising had a small, stretched team, and wanted to increase their bid writing capacity without taking on a permanent member of staff
Action Taken:
Money Tree Fundraising identified two potential candidates and sent through their CVs. I then had a call with both of them to assess which had the most relevant experience for our tasks.
Difference Made:
Money Tree Fundraising have interviewed and vouched for a range of fundraisers who they work with and are able to narrow to a shortlist of appropriate candidates.
Results:
We have increased the output of applications, trained up a team member to write and assist with bids, identified a range of smaller new trusts to apply to, assessed a range of larger trusts to go back to, created a more strategic approach to trust and foundations.
In financial terms, (working as a team – not just Cat) we’ve applied for c. £450k and secured roughly 50% of that so far.
