Making the most of your day – every day

Zero-based calendar planning is a technique that fills every moment of your working day, in advance. This theory proposes that distractions arise in the gaps between our scheduled activity and so scheduling the whole of your day squeezes out distractions and can make you more productive.

Doing the important things, not all the things

Time is precious and finite and should be spent doing what is important. Dividing your work into three areas – admin, donor/client time, future work – can help you ensure your time is well-spent across these three areas.
