Confirmation of your booking
Your place is confirmed when we receive your booking, at which stage these terms and conditions apply and you are liable for the fees.
Receiving your booking means your completion of the online booking form OR you sending an email requesting an invoice be raised to secure your place at the relevant event.
If you book your event online you will receive an acknowledgement email. Please check the details of the booking are correct and if you would like to make any amendments to your booking please contact email@example.com
If you do not receive an acknowledgement email, please check your spam mailbox first and if nothing is found, please contact us to check the status of your order.
Payment should normally be made by card via the online booking system.
An invoice can be requested in lieu of card payment. The request for such an invoice will be taken as booking confirmation and all of these terms and conditions will apply. In the case of payment via invoice, payment must be made in full within 14 days. We reserve the right to allocate the event place to another delegate if payment is not made in time.
Promotional and Discount Codes
Please ensure that any promotional and discount codes are applied to your purchase before finalising your payment option. These codes cannot be added to your purchase at a later date.
Attendees are expected to attend a course in its entirety. Joining a course part way through the day will only be allowed in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of Money Tree Fundraising. If an attendee leaves a course part way through, another person cannot take the place and there can be no transfer to another date.
Course dates, venues and postponements
Money Tree Fundraising reserves the right to change or cancel course dates, times or venue without liability. Every effort will be made to give as much advance notice as possible, and attendees will be contacted via the email address given at the time of booking. If the attendee cannot make the altered dates or venue the fee will be refunded.
Making travel arrangements
Any travel or other costs incurred for arrangements made more than 14 days before the event date are entirely the attendee’s responsibility and Money Tree Fundraising does not accept any liability for reimbursement of any costs incurred by attendees.
We cannot offer refunds for cancellations due to circumstances outside our control including adverse weather conditions, transportation issues, major incidents or industrial action. We will not be liable for any other consequential damages or costs incurred.
Money Tree Fundraising is not liable for any training courses that have to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Money Tree Fundraising reserves the right to change the exact content and/or trainer at any time to best deliver the desired outcomes.
Change or cancel your booking
If within 72 hours of making your booking you find that you need to cancel or amend the place, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org to request an amendment/cancellation. Within this time frame there will be no charge for cancellations or amendments.
Cancelling after 72 hours
If you are not able to attend your course or you wish to cancel and you do not wish to transfer an alternative date in the future, the following charges will apply:
28+ days prior to the event – 10%
1-27 days prior to the event – 100%
Non-attendance on the day – 100%
Please email your cancellation request to email@example.com and we will reply to you without delay.
In exceptional circumstances we will accommodate a transfer to another date, or reduced fee. This is entirely at the discretion of Money Tree Fundraising. If there are circumstances you wish us to take into consideration when you request a refund, or can no longer attend on the day, please give full details within your email request.
Substitute your place for another person
If you wish to transfer a place on a course to another delegate the first change is free and subsequent changes will incur a 10% administration charge. This can be done up to 7 days before the start of a course/event. Please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org and once we have received your request, we will send a new confirmation email to the new delegate, whilst sending the invoice to the appropriate person.
Transferring to another course/dates
Please email your request to email@example.com and we will contact you to advise on your transfer. There will be a 10% administration charge when requesting a transfer to the same course at a later date.
In all circumstances verbal changes or cancellation requests will not be accepted.
If, at Money Tree Fundraising’s discretion, you are offered a transfer to another date then this can only be used once, after which any movement or change will be considered a cancellation and any outstanding invoices will remain due irrespective of the number of days’ notice given.
Money Tree Fundraising does not accept responsibility for attendees’ personal belongings or valuables, for example laptops or mobile telephones, brought to our events. These remain the responsibility of the individual attendees.
Money Tree Fundraising reserves the right to remove any attendee from their course should their behaviour be deemed inappropriate. In such circumstances, no refund of course fees or other costs will be made.
