Beth Upton has been a professional fundraiser since 2002 when she joined Macmillan's corporate fundraising team. Over her career she has worked in most fundraising disciplines and specialised in high-value fundraising from both trusts and major donors.

Beth studied her professional fundraising qualifications at the Open University and more recently passed the Certificate in Philanthropic Psychology Certificate from the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy, with merit. In March 2023, she further enhanced her professional skills by qualifying as a coach, attaining the ILM Level 7 certification.

This blend of practical experience and academic achievement makes Beth a seasoned and knowledgeable professional in the fundraising sector.
