Liz specialises in trusts and volunteer board fundraising and has extensive experience in health, disability and children and young people’s sectors. She started her fundraising career in 2001 and is thrilled to have raised £34m for projects providing urgent help to some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Her proudest moment is raising £25m from the Big Lottery Fund for Drink Wise Age Well, helping people over the age of 50 affected by alcohol use.
In previous Manager and Head of roles, Liz was responsible for a team of fundraisers at the NSPCC/ChildLine (2005-2013) and Addaction (2013-2016) and has extensive experience of developing a fundraising strategy, coaching and supporting the team and developing and stewarding relationships with donors, senior volunteers and partners. During her fundraising career, she has developed a broad range of fundraising expertise including individual giving, events, corporate giving, major giving and capital appeals.
