Caroline Danks
Trusts Associate

Caroline Danks has been a fundraiser for twelve years, and has a strong track record in regularly exceeding challenging income targets.

She is competent in a range of fundraising disciplines and specialises in charitable trusts and major donors.  She has experience of working with large and small charities across different sectors including heritage, environment, conservation, homelessness, social welfare, mental health, and drug and alcohol misuse.

Caroline’s greatest achievement was managing the fundraising campaign for the restoration of Castle Drogo in Devon.  Over four years, £7 million was raised against a target of £4 million.  Caroline worked as part of the wider project and fundraising team and personally wrote the trusts and majors gifts strategy and delivered its £1.5 million target.  She established and led a development board and hosted several bespoke events for donors and prospects.
