Money Tree Fundraising today announced that Deanna Wolf has been appointed Senior Consultant – Trust Fundraising. Deanna will lead all aspects of the company’s growing trust fundraising programme, including account management for all of trust fundraising clients.

Deanna brings 16 years’ trust expertise to Money Tree Fundraising, an agency offering specialist consultancy and expert fundraising from trusts, companies and major donors. She will join the Money Tree Fundraising team on 1st August 2018.  This new role for the company will provide additional capacity across all client work but particularly for the trust fundraising and major donor programmes, which will both benefit from a new quality assurance framework that Deanna will develop.

Beth Upton, CEO, is excited to bring Deanna on-board. “Deanna has a wealth of experience in trust fundraising, was Chair of the Trusts, Statutory and Foundations Special Interest Group for Institute of Fundraising in Scotland until earlier this year and is a renowned speaker on the challenges of trust fundraising.

 “With 20 associate trust fundraisers now working for us, Deanna’s priority will be to set up quality assurance processes internally that will mean even better service for our clients, many of whom are small charities who rely on our team for their entire trust fundraising income.”

Deanna Wolf currently works for Carers Trust Scotland where she has secured more than £1.2 million in funding over 3 years and has reinvigorated the trusts and grants fundraising process.  She previously worked at a number of charities and universities including Quarriers, Erskine, and the Universities of Aberdeen, Kent and Stirling.

She has been a trust fundraiser since 2002 in both the United States and the UK.  She was Chair of the Trusts, Statutory and Foundations Fundraising Special Interest Group from November 2013 to March 2018. She will be speaking at the Institute of Fundraising National Convention in July about her experiences of being a sole trust fundraiser.
