Money Tree Fundraising is committed to making the world a better place by growing excellent high value giving. We try to make sure that charities of all sizes can take advantage of high value giving to increase their impact on the world. We do this by:

  • keeping our prices as low as possible
  • volunteering with Small Charities Coalition
  • working without charge to support organisations close to our hearts
  • signposting to other organisations who can help when we cannot

Other places you can explore for help include:

  • Directory of Social Change – is the publisher of many books and subscription-only funding databases. These databases are available without charge from their offices in London or Liverpool, as is their resource library crammed with help on a wide range of topics
  • Foundation for Social Improvement – supports small charities by offering very cheap or free training and conferences
  • Institute of Fundraising – offers very cost-effective networking, training, mentoring and conferences often aimed at small charities through its regional network – and there is no charge to join the mailing list
  • National Council for Voluntary Organisations – hosts fundingcentral, a free search tool listing thousands of funding and finance opportunities for voluntary organisations and social enterprises registered in England, as well as toolkits to do your your strategies
  • Small Charities Coalition – is available for any organisation with a turnover of less than £1m and they have a range of services and resources to help
  • Your local CVS – should offer free or low-cost support for fundraising, often including a funder-finding service
  • Your local library – will often be able to offer free access to the Directory of Social Change’s searchable databases of potential funders and some libraries offer access to Who’s Who and other databases of potential major donors.

Good luck in your fundraising
